INTX Insurance Software launches Tenet, a native intelligence layer built into its (re)insurance operating system, covering underwriting, reinsurance, policy administration, claims, accounting and financial operations. Tenet delivers four capabilities. Treaty intelligence converts reinsurance treaties into structured operational data to speed treaty onboarding and improve governance across ceded and assumed reinsurance. Policy intelligence interprets policy documentation to identify coverages, endorsements, exclusions, limits, deductibles and policy changes. Underwriting intelligence evaluates submissions against underwriting guidelines, authority levels and carrier appetite, identifying exceptions and compliance issues before decisions are made. Knowledge intelligence connects information across policies, treaties, claims, accounting and underwriting. The layer operates across the three platforms making up the INTX operating system: ReinsureConnect, a ceded reinsurance platform automating treaty and facultative accounting, recoverables, bordereaux, Schedule F reporting and financial operations; INTX Re, an assumed reinsurance platform covering treaty and facultative administration, premium and loss accounting, bordereaux management and capacity management; and INTX Core, a commercial property and casualty platform supporting underwriting, quoting, policy administration, billing, claims and policy servicing for carriers, managing general agents and fronting organisations. Rob Lewis, chief executive officer of INTX, says: “The insurance industry does not need another AI assistant. AI is only as powerful as the information it understands. Most platforms are layering AI onto fragmented systems. We built a unified operating system first.” Devon Ellett, chief operating officer and co-founder of INTX, adds: “Insurance has always been a knowledge business. Every underwriting decision, treaty interpretation, claims determination and financial outcome depends on understanding complex information.” INTX says future Tenet capabilities will span claims operations, financial analytics, portfolio intelligence, capital management, regulatory reporting and enterprise decision support.
