Augment Risk appoints Kurt Cripps as group head of growth and broking, effective immediately. In the newly created role, Cripps supports the reinsurance and capital solutions broker's commercial strategy by originating and delivering strategic growth opportunities across the business. Working alongside Augment Risk's broking leads, Cripps supports strategic client opportunities, complex placements and market strategy, bringing senior market relationships and commercial experience to the role. Cripps continues to serve as head of global parametric during a transitional period, supported by the existing team of experts based across Miami and London. Cripps joined Augment Risk in October 2023 to build the broker's parametric proposition. Before that, Cripps spent 13 years at Aon, most recently as managing director for innovation and solutions and global head of weather.
