The Nevada Division of Insurance promotes Michael Reynolds to senior management analyst, effective 20 July, in a role that places him at the head of the Division's Company Admissions and Captive Insurance sections. Reynolds joined the Division in 2023 as an analyst in its captive insurance programme, working on the analysis and regulation of captive insurers. He has served the State of Nevada since 2009, in roles spanning the Silver State Health Insurance Exchange, the Office of the Labor Commissioner and the Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation. He recently completed the Associate in Captive Insurance qualification from the International Institute for Captive Insurance Education, adding a captive-specific credential ahead of taking charge of the section. Reynolds says: "I am grateful for this opportunity for personal growth and to serve the State of Nevada and the insurance industry in a greater capacity." The Nevada Division of Insurance is the state regulator responsible for the oversight of insurers operating in Nevada, which has operated as a US captive domicile since 1999.
