Captive Resources promotes Jamie Hamilton to associate program manager. Hamilton has been with the group-captive adviser for more than three years, joining in 2023 as senior program coordinator. Hamilton's earlier career included an underwriting support supervisor role at EMC Insurance Companies, covering rating and policy support for its Omaha branch, and a process specialist position at Zurich North America. Captive Resources advises member-owned group captives, helping mid-market companies become insurance company owners rather than buyers. The firm currently advises more than 53 casualty and medical stop-loss group captives, comprising over 7,700 member-companies and US$5.8 billion in annual premium. Its subsidiaries include Kensington Management Group, a captive management firm, and Edgewater Actuarial Insights, an actuarial and management consulting firm serving the captive industry.
