Caterina Robba is promoted to client development manager at Generali Employee Benefits (GEB), the Luxembourg-based employee benefits arm of the Generali Group. Robba takes on the role from April 2026, having previously served as senior account executive at GEB since July 2023. Based in Luxembourg, she continues to focus on multinational employee benefits programmes, an area in which GEB offers reinsurance to captive solutions, multinational pooling and other arrangements designed for large international employers. She joined GEB in September 2019 as an intern in network management and partnership, working on reinsurance and retrocession agreements and network cooperation arrangements. She progressed to network management officer, before moving into sales account roles where her responsibilities included daily portfolio management of employee benefits insurance contracts for multinational clients and the prospecting and selling of pooling and captive solutions. Earlier in her career, Robba worked as a property and casualty motor claims specialist at Genertel in Trieste, Italy, handling direct compensation, third-party liability and ancillary guarantees. She also spent time at Generali Welion as a case manager and telemedicine analyst, supporting health service product development and the redesign of permanent disability from illness contracts. Generali Employee Benefits is the business line of the Generali Group focused on global employee benefits, providing solutions to multinational corporations through a network of local partners coordinated from Luxembourg. The platform supports captive programmes alongside multinational pooling and other risk financing structures for international employers.
