Shenoy joins United Educators board

United Educators (UE) announces the election of Rajiv Shenoy to its Subscribers’ Advisory Board, where he will serve a three-year term. Based in Bethesda, Maryland, the organisation provides liability insurance and risk management solutions to K-12 schools, colleges, and universities across the US. Shenoy brings more than 18 years of experience spanning education technology, institutional strategy, and enterprise transformation. He currently serves as partner and associate director at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he helps lead BCG U, the firm’s platform for enterprise-scale capability building and transformation. Commenting on the appointment, Rick Mills, president and CEO of UE, says: “Rajiv brings a powerful combination of strategic insight, deep experience in education technology, and a genuine passion for advancing institutional impact. His perspective will be invaluable as we continue evolving to meet our members’ changing needs.” Prior to his role at BCG, Shenoy was the founder and CEO of Orca TV, a software business serving higher education. He also held senior leadership positions at Apogee and served as executive in residence and vice president of technology ventures at Shorelight Education. Reflecting on his election, Shenoy says: “Honoured to share that I've been elected to the Board of Directors of United Educators (UE), a national organisation providing liability insurance and risk management solutions to K-12 schools, colleges, and universities across the country.” He adds: “Education has been the through-line of my career and my life and I'm looking forward to bringing a practitioner's lens to UE's mission of strengthening the institutions we all depend on.” UE has received an ‘A’ (Excellent) financial strength rating from AM Best every year since 1998 and is recognised among the Ward’s 50 top-performing insurance companies.
