Allison Ammirato rejoins Brown & Brown as a senior captive consultant. Ammirato returns to the firm following a tenure of nearly two years at Luzern Risk, where she most recently served as a client advisor. Before her time at Luzern Risk, she spent six years at Beecher Carlson, which was acquired by Brown & Brown in 2013, where she held several accounting positions. Commenting on her return to the firm on LinkedIn, Ammirato says: “Coming back feels like a homecoming, but I’m returning with a much larger toolkit. My time at Luzern Risk was a masterclass in versatility. I had the privilege of stepping into various roles and continuing to expand my knowledge of the captive insurance industry.” She adds: “Beyond the technical skills, I grew more as an individual in this role than any other, learning how to lead with poise and stay grounded through a fast-paced environment. I’m ready to dive back in at Brown & Brown and apply these lessons to the road ahead.” During her previous six-year tenure at Beecher Carlson, Ammirato served as an accountant before being promoted to senior accountant in 2021. In her new role at Brown & Brown, she joins the alternative risk and captives team. Brown & Brown’s captive division provides a variety of services including alternative risk consulting, financial reporting, audit and actuarial support, and regulatory and domicile representations. The team also specialises in captive feasibility studies, business plan approval, and brokerage and analytics support. Ammirato is a graduate of Union College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematics.
