TxCIA opens registration for 2026 annual conference

The Texas Captive Insurance Association (TxCIA) opens early bird registration and a call for speakers for its 2026 annual conference, scheduled to take place from 13 to 14 October in San Antonio. Following a record-breaking attendance in 2025, the upcoming event will be held at the Kimpton Santo San Antonio Riverwalk. The conference targets Texas-based captive owners and industry professionals, offering a mixture of educational sessions, networking, and practical industry takeaways. The 2026 programme features the association's annual ‘Captive 101’ session on the opening afternoon, designed for those new to the industry. This is followed by a full day of technical programming on 14 October. In addition to registration, TxCIA is seeking proposals for educational sessions. The association indicates a preference for engaging, forward-looking presentations led by members and featuring captive owners. Submissions for the call for speakers are due by 1 May 2026. Early bird pricing for the event remains available through 28 August 2026. The association has also released updated sponsorship packages and a discounted hotel room block for attendees.
