Johnson Lambert LLP has appointed Brandy Vannoy as managing partner, effective 1 January 2026. Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Vannoy succeeds John Prescott, who concluded a 10-year tenure as managing partner at the end of 2025. Prescott remains with the firm to continue serving clients and supporting strategic growth. Vannoy has been with Johnson Lambert for more than 21 years, joining the firm in 2004. During her tenure, she has served as a tax partner and a member of the firm’s executive committee. In her new role, Vannoy is responsible for defining the firm’s growth strategy through service innovation and leadership development. She also oversees operational planning and firm-wide initiatives around talent development and internal governance. Vannoy has more than 20 years of experience serving insurance companies, including commercial carriers and captives. Her background includes tax strategy and advisory, federal and multi-state tax compliance, and captive insurance tax matters. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Accounting from North Carolina State University.
