Allianz Commercial announces the completion of its Miami Latin America hub, with a full leadership team now in place to serve clients and brokers across the region. Located in Miami's Brickell financial district, the hub strengthens Allianz Commercial's presence in Latin America and delivers facultative reinsurance and commercial insurance solutions across property, construction and natural resources, entertainment, financial lines (including cyber), marine, and multinational services. The Miami hub supports Allianz Commercial's business operations in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico, while expanding reinsurance business into additional Latin American territories including Chile, Peru, Ecuador, and Panama. Guilherme Bizzo, who co-led the Miami hub project from its inception, relocated from Brazil in December to lead the regional managing director office, as well as multinational and alternative risk transfer operations. In this role, he is responsible for driving the hub's strategy and execution, overseeing multinational and alternative risk solutions, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives to ensure effective integration with Allianz Commercial's global network. Angelica Torres, head of facultative desk, leads the Miami reinsurance operations, coordinating placements, managing broker relationships, and expanding facultative capacity across all lines of business in the region. The leadership team also includes Eduardo Fontes as head of distribution, Felipe Orsi as head of property, Ivan Coronado as head of natural resources and construction, Monica Oyaga as head of long tail, and Daniel Castrillon as chief technical officer. The Miami-based leadership team works in partnership with Gabriela Rosa in Brazil and Diego Reppetti in Argentina, who complete the regional leadership structure from their local bases. David Colmenares, managing director for Latin America at Allianz Commercial, says: "Having our leadership team in place ahead of our official February launch demonstrates our commitment to Latin America and the Americas region as a whole. This team combines deep local market knowledge with global capabilities, positioning us to deliver exceptional value to our broker partners and clients." The official opening ceremony takes place in February 2026 during Miami (Re)insurance Week.
