Performa appoints Warren Miller as head of relationship management. Based in Charleston, South Carolina, Miller previously served as senior relationship manager for the firm. Miller has been with Performa for more than 11 years, joining the company in 2014 as a senior associate for client service and portfolio management. In his new role, he is responsible for managing client relationships and collaborating with the marketing and business development teams to cultivate new partnerships. Throughout his tenure, Miller has developed relationships with existing clients and their service providers to assist in the development of new business opportunities. He previously served as chair for the 2019 and 2020 South Carolina Captive Insurance Association (SCCIA) conferences. Before joining Performa, Miller held various roles at BuysideFX, a foreign exchange trading software provider based in Vermont. He holds a degree in business administration from the University of Vermont. Performa is an independent, institutional investment management firm dedicated to the captive insurance industry. The company is 100 per cent employee-owned and operates offices in Bermuda, Vermont and South Carolina.
