The Arizona Captive Insurance Association (AZCIA) announces its Annual One-Day Captive Insurance Symposium, scheduled to take place at the Gainey Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale on 22 October 2026. The event features Arizona domicile updates and provides attendees with the opportunity to meet state regulators, including one-on-one meetings with the Arizona Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions (AZDIFI) chief captive analyst. George Belokas, president of AZCIA, will deliver the opening welcome. The symposium programme includes sessions on expert industry insights and actionable strategies, as well as opportunities for networking. Organisers suggest that captive owners consider holding their annual board meetings during the event to take advantage of the venue and regulatory presence. The symposium qualifies for up to five hours of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits. Formed in 2001, the AZCIA is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting and marketing Arizona as a competitive captive insurance domicile through education, networking and legislative advocacy.
