NARS bolsters claims team with Conway Nickerson

North American Risk Services (NARS) appoints Conway Nickerson as a claims specialist. Nickerson joins the Florida-headquartered third-party claims administrator (TPA) as it continues to expand its support for insurers, managing general agencies, and captives. Nickerson brings more than 20 years of insurance industry experience to the role, with a focus on liability claims resolution, litigation management, and risk management. He holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and the Senior Claim Law Associate (SCLA) credentials. Commenting on his appointment, Nickerson says: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Claims Specialist at North American Risk Services (NARS)!”. He joins NARS from American Specialty Insurance & Risk Services, where he served as a senior claims adjuster for two years, managing the resolution of high-value, litigated commercial general liability claims. Before this, Nickerson worked as a claims and risk management consultant. His career also includes 15 years at Health Care Service Corporation as a corporate risk management claims coordinator, where he designed and performed the company’s first TPA account audit. Additionally, Nickerson held environmental claims roles at Royal & SunAlliance and Zurich Insurance. During his tenure at Zurich, he was involved in the management and supervision of the World Trade Center claims ceded to the firm following the September 11, 2001 attacks. NARS is a nationwide TPA providing claims administration for captives, reinsurers, and self-insured funds. The firm handles various lines of business including commercial property, general liability, and professional liability.
