GPW and Associate promotes Bryan Dobson to AVP/Executive Director – Business Development. The firm says the milestone reflects his leadership, strategic vision, and the trust he has earned through consistent performance and results. Dobson steps into the new leadership role having served as the Executive Director – Business Development since December 2023, where his responsibilities include evaluating Dealer Participation Programmes, Profit Share, Controlled and Non Controlled Foreign Corporation, and Reinsurance Agreement Review. He has been with GPW and Associates for over nine years, having joined as a Consultant – Management Services in January 2017. His prior roles at the firm include Senior Consultant – Management Services and Director – Business Development. During his time at the firm, he manages Dealer Owned and Captive Reinsurance programmes. Before joining GPW and Associates, Dobson worked at Transamerica for nearly eight years, serving as a Financial Risk/Offshore Reinsurance Manager – Affinity Markets from March 2009 to January 2017. In that role, he manages day-to-day operations for Offshore NCFC and CFC companies and is active on the Risk assessment and Investment committees. His earlier experience also includes nearly 11 years at Assurant in various roles, where he gained expertise in statutory and GAAP accounting, and prepared monthly and annual financials for captive domestic and foreign reinsurance companies.
