Declan O’Neill is taking up the position of Senior Captive Manager at Risk Management Advisors (RMA). O'Neill joins RMA's team in George Town, Cayman Islands. He most recently served as Client Services Director at Artex Risk Solutions, where he was also based in the Cayman Islands. Before this, he spent over five years at Willis Towers Watson, which included a role as a Captive Insurance Account Manager from October 2014 to July 2020. In that role, his duties included the preparation of quarterly management accounts and annual financial statements (US GAAP & IFRS), coordination of the annual external audit process, and ensuring compliance with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority regulations. O'Neill brings a wealth of experience in the captive insurance space and is “very much looking forward to working alongside RMA’s dynamic team and contributing to its continued growth,” he says. His earlier career includes working as a Tax & Treasury Accountant for Coca-Cola HBC Ireland Limited and a long tenure as a Tax Consultant at PwC Ireland. His background at PwC includes strong experience coordinating group corporation tax reporting for large multinational insurance clients.
