Captive Advisory Partners (CAP) promotes Marc W. Ross to Senior Underwriting Associate, effective immediately, recognising his "exceptional hard work, dedication, and a commitment to excellence in everything he does". The move sees Ross rise within the firm, where he has been a Reporting and Compliance Professional in the Financial Operations department since joining in July 2023. Ross brings an extensive background in operations, compliance, and financial services to the new role. Before joining Captive Advisory Partners, Ross worked in Operations for Marsh for more than 11 years, from July 2014 to November 2025. His tenure at Marsh included roles as an Operations Support Team Leader for the Surplus Lines Practice and a Project Manager for process, technology, and training for the Surplus Lines Group. He also collaborated with outside auditors as a Business Analyst to create and maintain client disclosure statements to satisfy the firm’s transparency requirement for a 2005 Settlement Agreement with the State of New York. Ross's earlier experience includes a role as a Compliance Specialist at AIG from February 2013 to July 2014, where he provided compliance and operational oversight for surplus lines agencies. He also worked as an Associate Director in the Foreign Due Diligence Group at UBS Financial Services, Inc from 2002 to 2006, where he monitored compliance with the USA PATRIOT Act as it related to the firm’s Customer Identification Programme. The firm further notes that Ross "continues to provide exemplary service to our clients, consistently going above and beyond to ensure their needs are met with professionalism and care".
