Guy Carpenter has launched the Capital & Advisory group as part of its Global Capital Solutions and has appointed Alexander Schnieders as global head of the new division.
The new division will provide solutions and guidance to healthcare providers and their insurers, and provide access to BMS’s broad range of insurance, reinsurance and risk management services and products.
In his new role, he will direct BMS Re’s operational expansion, from digital and technological capabilities to collaboration with its London and Bermuda offices.
Previously, he led European broking solutions at Guy Carpenter for more than three years.
In this role, he will be responsible for new business development across the Asia Pacific region, supporting client relationships in the key areas of credit, bond and political risk.
