The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) has announced futurist Jim Carroll as one of the keynote speakers for its 39th annual conference, scheduled for 12-14 August at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Burlington, Vermont.
Vermont House Bill 659 clarifies the law in multiple instances to improve the process and consistency of regulatory practices, address unnecessary redundancies, and better align requirements with the captive marketplace.
The conference is America’s biggest captive event, where attendees can expect to participate in networking, education sessions and business opportunities.
Titled ‘The Balancing Act of Captive Management’, the event will address inflationary challenges that insurance companies face.
The event, tailored to prospective captive insurance companies, has been hosted in more than 20 cities, including Mexico City.
