Envelop Risk has unveiled its services business, Envelop Risk Solutions, which provides support for (re)insurers seeking enhanced cyber performance.
The firm says that it will use Envelop's augmented underwriting approach, which combines data enrichment and AI with rigorous underwriting and capital management.
Envelop Risk Solutions supports a wide range of projects, from helping clients build cyber programmes from scratch to scaling international reinsurance.
Envelop co-founder Paul Guthrie will lead the business area on an interim basis. Prior to Envelop Risk, Guthrie led AI and technology integration projects for global investment banks, asset managers, aerospace and defence firms, and NASA.
Jonathan Spry, Envelop co-founder and CEO, remarks: “Envelop was founded to enable sustainable industry growth through the intelligent application of advanced analytics technology to best practices in capital management and underwriting.
“With a view to increasing the resiliency of the global cyber market, it’s a pleasure to open our tool kit to help our industry partners, large and small, hit their strategic targets.”
