BDA returns to Toronto promote Bermuda business development

The Bermuda Business Development Agency (BDA) has returned to Toronto to promote its business development opportunities. The trip, which is occurring from 15 May until 17 May, aims to build upon its business mission established in September 2023.

This mission, according to the BDA, is to promote and protect sustainable and equitable economic growth and prosperity in Bermuda in collaboration with government and the private sector,.”

BDA’s CEO, David Hart, is leading the delegation. Hart is accompanied by the agency’s chairman, Carey Olsen, BDA’s business development manager, Helen Souza and Andrew Vaucrosson from Bermuda Captive Network.

Hart, Olsen, Souz and Vaucrosson are representing Bermuda in a series of meetings — focusing on a wide range of sectors including: risk and insurance, climate risk solutions, asset management, technology and high-net-worth services.

The BDA says: “Canada and Bermuda share a close business relationship, particularly in the areas of (re)insurance and asset management, and we look forward to strengthening our ties in this key market.”
