Global Captive Management (GCM) has appointed James Trundle as vice president.
Trundle has nearly 22 years of financial services experience in the Cayman Islands, Bermuda and London markets.
Prior to GCM, Trundle was client services director at Artex Risk Solutions from 2021 to 2023. Before that he was senior account manager at the company.
At Artex, he was responsible for a large portfolio of clients such as group captives, reinsurance companies, insurance linked securities and traditional single parent captives.
He was also a senior analyst at The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority from 2009 to 2012.
Ian Bridges, senior vice president at GCM, says: “Adding someone of James’ experience and qualifications is a huge win for GCM. James has expanded our business network and made an impact by assuming lead responsibility for a portfolio of clients.”
Jennifer Reid, senior vice president, comments: “James is a trusted name in the industry and has specialised in group captives, for which GCM is already an established market leader.
“With his group captive experience as well as reinsurance expertise, GCM continues to bring leadership in these industry segments.”
