Insurance brokerage and advisor CAC Specialty has named Charles Scheerer as executive vice president.
In his new role, Scheerer will bring a wealth of experience and expertise to bolster CAC Specialty’s presence in key sectors, such as private equity, real estate, construction and management liability.
Based in Palm Beach, Florida, he will report to David Payne, chief revenue officer at CAC Specialty.
Scheerer worked previously as senior vice president at Marsh in New York and Palm Beach, and as assistant vice president at Aon.
According to the firm, the appointment marks a significant milestone in the company’s expansion efforts along the East Coast, with a focus on Florida.
