Zurich appoints Kochan-Sonawane as Senior Captive Underwriter
Zurich Insurance has promoted Anna Kochan-Sonawane to the role of senior captive underwriter.
She joined Zurich in November 2020 as a captive underwriter. Before that, she spent eight years at AIG, holding positions such as senior account executive and global fronting underwriter.
Kochan-Sonawane began her insurance career in 2003 as a commercial account handler at Dallas Kirkland, a specialist UK underwriting agency.
She holds a Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Master’s degree in Marketing and Management in Transportation from Cracow University of Technology.
