Aon has appointed Andy Marcell as CEO of Global Solutions, a role in which he will lead the firm’s integrated Risk Capital and Human Capital businesses.
In his new position, Marcell oversees Aon’s operations across Reinsurance, Commercial Risk, Health, Wealth and Talent.
He will continue to serve as CEO of Reinsurance until John Neal joins the firm on 1 September 2025. Marcell will remain a member of Aon’s executive committee and report to Aon’s president and CEO, Greg Case.
Having joined Aon in 2015, Marcell most recently served as CEO of Risk Capital, where he led the integration of the firm’s Commercial Risk and Reinsurance divisions.
His appointment follows a broader leadership reshuffle at Aon that saw Lambros Lambrou, formerly CEO of Human Capital, take on the role of global chief strategy officer. Aon is currently conducting a global search for a new head of Human Capital.
