Willis, a WTW business, has strengthened its real estate team with senior appointments in London and Manchester.
Lauren McKay and Liam Hebron have both joined as directors in London, while Craig Johnson has been appointed executive director in Manchester.
Shaun Grainger has also been named development director within Willis' newly formed residential real estate team, based in London.
The new recruits will focus on supporting clients including real estate investment trusts (REITs), private equity real estate (PERE) firms, private investors, pension funds, and investment managers.
The firm says their arrival comes as the real estate sector grows increasingly complex, with Willis aiming to help clients better manage and mitigate risks across their portfolios.
McKay joins from CBRE, where she spent five years in client solutions and business development roles across GWS Enterprise Accounts, property and asset management, and advisory and transaction services.
At Willis, she will focus on real estate client solutions for pan-European investors and landlords.
Hebron, an experienced insurance specialist, brings global expertise from the UK, EMEA and North America, with previous roles at Gallagher and Axco.
He will concentrate on driving new business in the real estate sector, using his skills in complex risk placement, programme structuring and portfolio protection.
Johnson, based in Manchester, brings extensive domestic and international experience across real estate and construction from previous positions at Lockton and Marsh.
He will focus on placing insurance for developers, funds, investors, and property owners, with a particular emphasis on specialist risk solutions for northern England and Scotland.
Grainger, who has two decades of experience in the financial and insurance industries, will lead growth and innovation in the residential real estate sector.
He has previously advised build-to-rent developers, operators and residential real estate investment clients with large portfolios.
Paul Turnbull, managing director of real estate at Willis, says the new hires would enhance the firm's ability to deliver tailored, risk-focused solutions.
McKay, Hebron, Johnson and Grainger will all report to Turnbull.
