Aon has appointed Erlantz Urbieta as chief broking officer (CBO) for EMEA, succeeding Terence Williams, who will take on the role of head of Commercial Risk in APAC.
In its announcement, the company says: “With over 25 years at Aon, Erlantz has been instrumental in shaping our Spanish Commercial Risk business as head of Commercial Risk in Spain.
“His expertise, combined with strong leadership acumen and deep industry relationships, makes him well-positioned to advance Aon’s broking strategy across EMEA.”
Urbieta will continue to oversee the Spanish business in the short term to ensure a smooth transition, while working closely with Luca Tassarotti, head of Commercial Risk EMEA, and Cynthia Beveridge, global CBO.
