Aon has named Soeren Soltysiak as Asia CEO of Reinsurance Solutions, alongside other senior appointments in the business.
Soltysiak previously served as strategic growth leader, APAC Reinsurance Solutions at Aon, where he helped drive growth strategies in the region.
In the new role, he will be responsible for driving the firm’s reinsurance strategy across treaty, facultative, analytics and operations, using his extensive regional experience to unlock opportunities in the Asia market.
Based in Singapore, Soltysiak will report to George Attard, APAC CEO of Reinsurance Solutions at Aon.
Alongside Soltysiak’s appointment, Aon has named Musa Adlan as managing director for Reinsurance Solutions in Asia.
Adlan will expand his current responsibilities to develop and refine Aon’s reinsurance business strategy in Asia, working closely with Soltysiak and Aon’s product leaders across the region. He will continue as head of Southeast Asia Reinsurance Solutions, and will report to Soltysiak.
Further appointments include Pierre Vende and Danny Alexander being named co-heads of life and health for Reinsurance Solutions; Soojin Kim and Cindy Gu appointed co-heads of retrocession APAC for Reinsurance Solutions; and Tom Drake named chairman of APAC Reinsurance Solutions Specialty.
