Specialty insurer Beazley has promoted Alessandro Lezzi as group head of cyber risks, reporting to Paul Bantick, group chief underwriting officer at Beazley.
According to the firm, Lezzi has an outstanding track record of success in cyber insurance, having been Beazley’s head of international cyber for more than a decade.
Prior to that, he worked as a senior international underwriter at Markel International. Lezzi started his career as an underwriter at Tokio Marine.
Commenting on the appointment, Bantick says: “Alessandro is an outstanding cyber insurance leader, he has driven the growth of our international cyber business, successfully growing our premium income, building out the team and most importantly creating trusted relationships with our brokers and clients.
