Gallagher Bassett has welcomed Irina Simpson as executive vice president (EVP) in workers' compensation to replace Ajay Sinha, who will take over the new role of managing director for captive practice.
Bringing more than 17 years of industry and leadership experience, Simpson joins from PMA Companies, where she served as senior vice president and chief claims officer.
Commenting on the new hire, the company says: “Irina is an accomplished executive with extensive experience leading claims, client service, analytics, and operational teams throughout the claims industry.
“Her passion for the claims profession, process improvement, and front-line engagement makes her the ideal person to lead our workers' compensation team.”
