Dr. Stefan Pasternak will succeed Dr. Christian Hermelingmeier as chief financial officer (CFO) of HDI Global, industrial lines division of the Talanx Group.
Hermelingmeier will move within the Talanx Group as CFO to Hannover Re, reinsurance business of the group, effective from 1 April 2025.
Pasternak is currently CFO at Munich Re's subsidiary Great Lakes Insurance, a primary insurer specialising in complex risks. He has a 25 year career within the Munich Re Group, 17 of which in leadership positions.
Prior to that, Pasternak was CFO at ERGO Grubu in Turkey and at ERGO DAUM in South Korea.
