Skyward Specialty Insurance Group has added six new hires to strengthen its regional contract surety teams.
The firm welcomes Gregg Callahan as regional vice president (VP) in New England. Callahan spent the last 27 years at Liberty Mutual Insurance, specialising in contract surety.
Larry Mastalski is appointed as regional VP in the Texas and Midwest territories. With more than 33 years of specialised surety expertise, Mastalski has established a strong network of agents in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
Previously, he served as VP branch manager at Markel and senior underwriter officer at Chubb.
Sam Allison and Sean Fallows join Skyward Specialty as assistant regional VP in Texas and the Pacific Northwest, respectively.
With 21 years of experience in the Texas surety market, Allison previously worked as regional bond manager for Main Street America Group, while Fallows brings more than 18 years of specialised surety expertise, having most recently held the Pacific Northwest branch manager position at Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions.
In addition, the company adds two new underwriters, Joe Waynauskas and Joe Michalewsky, to its contract surety teams in the North-Central region and in the Northeast, respectively.
