Sompo, a commercial and P&C (re)insurer, has appointed Christoph Müller as country manager of its insurance division in Switzerland.
Based in Zurich, Müller will report to Ralph Brand, president of Continental Europe, Sompo International.
He joins Sompo from Allianz Risk Transfer, where he most recently served as CEO and head of distribution for Allianz Commercial Switzerland.
Commenting on the appointment, Brand says: “Christoph is an outstanding insurance professional with exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record of success across two decades.
“His deep market knowledge and insights, both locally and internationally, make him perfectly placed to further continue the growth of Sompo’s business in Switzerland”.
