Hamilton Insurance DAC has named Ross Reynolds as CEO.
Based in Dublin, Reynolds will be replacing former CEO Fiona Marry, reporting to Adrian Daws, CEO of Hamilton Global Specialty, and joining the Hamilton Insurance DAC’s board.
Reynolds joined Hamilton in 2014, having served as global head of operations from 2021 and, before that, global head of FP&A from 2019.
Prior to that, he started his career with Irish Progressive Services International, followed by Zurich Insurance Company. Reynolds is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants.
Commenting on the appointment, Daws states: “[He] brings extensive experience and a strong track record of leadership and operational excellence. Having worked closely with Ross, I have full confidence in his ability to lead our Dublin-based team.”
At the same time, Matthew Saunders has been appointed as chief underwriting officer of Hamilton Insurance DAC on an interim basis, reporting to Reynolds.
