Arch Insurance International has hired Ketan Motwani as UK chief operating officer (COO).
In his new role, Motwani will be responsible for overseeing key UK functions, including underwriting operations, process and operational excellence, and strategic portfolio management.
He will work closely with the wider senior leadership team at Arch to support the company’s overall growth strategy.
Based in London, Motwani will report to Hugh Sturgess, CEO at Arch Insurance International.
The new hire brings over 20 years of experience in insurance operations and transformation leadership to the role.
He joins Arch from Aon UK, where he was COO for Commercial Risk, with responsibilities spanning transformation, service delivery, operations, and digital platforms.
Prior to that, he held senior roles at Deloitte, focusing on insurance strategy, operations, and technology.
