Reinsurance broker Augment Risk has named Paul Corver as advisor.
Corver retired from his position as group head of legacy M&A at R&Q Insurance in April 2023, where he was responsible for run-off liabilities from (re)insurers, captives and other self-insurance vehicles.
Prior to that, he served as director of KMS Insurance Management, a company he helped establish in 2005.
The new hire brings experiences and insights from the reinsurance industry to the broker, looking to strengthen its legacy buildout.
Andrew Matson, CEO of Augment Risk, comments: “We are receiving and executing on client demand for bespoke and recurring legacy transactions, providing solutions around capital management rather than simply managing toxic liability.”
Covert says: “I am delighted to be working with Augment Risk to help build out their expertise in the legacy and captive sectors.”
