Justin Doherty has joined Independent Management Bermuda as president and CEO, taking over upon Cyril Whitter’s retirement.
Previously, Doherty worked as a legal entity controller at AXIS Capital, managing finance, accounting and regulatory matters.
Prior to this, he provided consulting services to various (re)insurers in Bermuda, including Renaissance and Tokio Millennium.
He graduated from the University of Sunderland with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and holds a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and a Fellow Chartered and Certified Accountant (FCCA).
