Generali Global Corporate and Commercial (GC&C) has appointed Carlos Gomez as head of insurance.
In his new role, Gomez will lead and oversee GC&C activities related to the entire insurance process. This includes fostering corporate portfolio management, optimising efficiency in the interdependencies between each underwriting line of business, pricing, loss prevention and claims processes.
Gomez has spent three decades at GC&C, having held various senior positions. He is currently the head of GC&C Mediterranean and Latin America, and will maintain this position’s responsibilities alongside his new role.
