Specialist (re)insurance broker Miller has appointed Shaun Sinniah as head of reinsurance and capital.
The appointment comes as the firm builds out its reinsurance offering and international presence.
Based in London, Sinniah will lead the expansion of Miller’s reinsurance offering, deployment of innovative data-driven approaches and enhanced strategic advisory capabilities.
Sinniah has nearly two decades of industry experience, and joins from Guy Carpenter where he was head of placement and distribution and chief operating officer for the firm’s international and global specialties divisions.
Prior to this, Sinniah held a number of roles at Willis Re, including managing director, global head of sales and client management.
Miller’s CEO James Hands comments: “We have a clear strategy to grow our reinsurance footprint in areas where it aligns with both client needs and our ambitious strategy.
