Airmic, the association for insurance and risk, has named Angela Iannetta as chair. She replaces Tim Graham, who has completed his term in the role.
Iannetta has more than 15 years of industry experience, and has been group head of risk and insurance for British American Tobacco since 2014. Prior to this, she was director of group insurance at AstraZeneca.
Airmic provides networking, professional development and thought leadership for its members, working with partners and affiliates to influence the future of risk management and insurance professions.
On the organisation’s steps going forwards, Graham comments: “The risks and opportunities our members face continue to grow in complexity and at an increasing pace of change. Our response will also continue to grow and change. We will consider new business opportunities yet nurture what we have.
“I cannot express enough the great honour it has been for me to be the chair of Airmic over the past fifteen months.”
