BPS has named David Ward as a shareholder, effective 1 January 2024. He joins 10 existing shareholders in the company.
Ward has worked with BPS since 2006, and currently directs the firm’s audit and assurance practice. He is also a lead audit professional for the property and casualty insurance team, which covers regional and national commercial carriers, mutual insurers, captive insurance, reciprocals and risk retention groups domiciled across the US.
In his current role, Ward is responsible for consulting clients on the disability, formation, operations and governance of captives, providing guidance on internal controls, best practices and complex accounting.
Commenting on his appointment, Ward says: “BPS has achieved tremendous success over the last 30 years, and I am both humbled and honoured to join the shareholder group at the firm. I look forward to providing leadership to our team, continuing to serve our loyal clients, and tackling whatever challenges and opportunities lie ahead.”
