Kathy Guerville has been promoted to chief underwriting officer at Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers.
Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers is Ryan Specialty’s underwriting business that consists of a number of specialty property and casualty managing general underwriters.
In her new role, Guerville will oversee all technical pricing and cat modelling resources. She will also provide oversight to the business’ underwriting standards and performance commitments.
Guerville previously served as deputy chief underwriting officer for Ryan Specialty and has 15 years of insurance and actuarial experience.
Prior to joining Ryan Specialty, Gueriville spent seven years at Zurich Insurance where she held actuarial roles.
Commenting on Guerville’s appointment, Miles Wuller, CEO of Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers, says: "Kathy has been an exceptional partner, and I am excited for her to join the underwriting unit directly to be at the front line of our rapidly evolving business.”
