Specialist reinsurer McGill and Partners (McGill) has made several leadership appointments.
Karl Hennessy, McGill’s head of specialty, will be appointed CEO of Global Risk Solutions, McGill’s US insurance and reinsurance business. He will move to New York from London.
McGill’s chairman John Lloyd will replace Hennessy as head of specialty.
In his new role, Hennessy will be supported by John Judice, who has been appointed president of McGill’s US business.
In his new role, Judice will be responsible for driving sales and business development activity across the firm’s specialty insurance platform.
Nirali Shah has been promoted from partner to head of US D&O.
Daisy Jackson has also been appointed partner, business development, and will move to New York from London.
Alyssa Gerardi will fill Jackson’s previous role as chief of staff, moving from New York to London.
