Spring Consulting Group (Spring) has appointed TJ Scherer as vice president.
Spring is a Boston-headquartered professional services firm focusing on the development of solutions for employee benefits, risk management and wealth strategies. It is owned by Alera Group Company.
Scherer will be responsible for growing the business’ property and casualty, and captive insurance space.
He will work closely with the group's captive consultants, actuaries and clients to determine risk management strategies.
Scherer has more than 10 years of experience managing client relationships and engagement for risk management programmes.
He also has knowledge of financial reporting including financial proformas and long-term planning strategies, audit coordination and compliance, and regulatory matters.
