Aon has appointed Andy Marcell as CEO of risk capital and Lambros Lambrou as CEO of human capital.
Marcell will be responsible for commercial risk, reinsurance and advanced risk analytic capabilities. Marcell’s appointment follows Aon’s expansion of traditional reinsurance solutions for its corporate clients.
Marcell will oversee the creation of Aon’s risk analytics team that will include data scientists and technologists from across its commercial risk and reinsurance solutions teams.
Lambrou will be responsible for Aon’s newly-integrated health, wealth and talent solutions.
The appointments are also part of Aon’s effort to further invest in the predictive data modelling required for its climate change-, intellectual property- and cyber terrorism-related services.
Marcell and Lambrou will continue to serve in their existing roles alongside their new responsibilities — Marcell as reinsurance solutions CEO and Lambrou as commercial solutions CEO.
