The Reinsurance Association of America (RAA) has elected Justin O’Keefe as chair of its board of directors. The association also appointed Jim Williamson and Jon Colello as vice chair and secretary-treasurer, respectively.
Headquartered in Washington DC, RAA is the trade association of US property and casualty reinsurers.
Since 2004, O’Keefe has served at RenaissanceRe, holding a number of senior underwriting roles. He is currently senior vice president and chief underwriting officer for North America and Bermuda. In this role he leads the company's market engagements and deal executions.
Based in New Jersey, Williamson is executive vice president, group chief operating officer, and head of reinsurance division for the Bermuda-based Everest Re Group. He is responsible for advancing the company’s underwriting, operation and data capabilities, as well as leading its reinsurance division.
Colello is CEO of property and casualty for the Americas at PartnerRe. Heis responsible for leading the company’s businesses in the US, Canada and South America.
