Aon Reinsurance Solutions has promoted Paul Grasso to head of treaty Australia and New Zealand.
Based in Sydney, Grasso will support clients to optimise their capital as the reinsurance market works to become more sustainable.
Grasso has served at Aon for 15 years, punctuated by 18 months at reinsurer Hannover Re where he served as treaty underwriter from 2016 to 2017.
Most recently he was Aon Reinsurance Solutions’ head of property for Australia. Grasso will continue to fulfil the requirements of this role alongside his new one.
Commenting on hid new role, Grasso says: “I am excited to have been appointed to this role, and, in particular, being able to continue to support clients in their optimisation of capital at what has been generally a challenging time in the global reinsurance market."
