Aon has appointed Sherif Zakhary as CEO of its strategy and technology group within reinsurance solutions to build more resilient businesses for its clients.
Zakhary was previously co-head of Aon’s strategy consulting team for insurers.
Based in New York, Zakhary will lead employees to accelerate the growth of Aon’s insurance consulting capabilities, enabling clients to make better business decisions. He will report to Andy Marcell, CEO of Aon’s reinsurance.
Before his tenure at Aon, Zakhary held senior positions at Guy Carpenter, Zurich, and MetLife.
Since its launch in 2022, Aon’s strategy and technology group has combined consulting and software to provide data-driven insights.
The team informs and advises (re)insurers and capital providers on profitable growth and operational efficiency.
