Zurich UK has appointed Esme Gould as UK head of captives, effective 1 April 2023.
Based in London, Gould will lead Zurich’s team of six UK captive underwriters to develop and grow new and existing captive programmes.
The move follows Emma Sansom's recent appointment as Zurich group head of captives.
Gould will take on the position from her current role as head of heavy industry for Zurich’s Energy, Marine and Construction team.
She has held a number of energy underwriting positions with Zurich since joining the company in 2014.
