Davies has promoted David Leedham to group chief transformation officer.
This forms part of the company’s drive to promote international growth, innovation and digital transformation.
Leedham joined the professional services and technology business in 2018 following its acquisition of Ember Group, a customer experience consulting and digital solutions specialist, where he was previously chief executive.
Since joining Davies, he has driven the expansion of its consulting unit, adding specialist CX, transformation, analytics and training solutions to its services for insurance companies and other global clients.
As group chief transformation officer, Leedham will be global head of Davies’ transformation and integration teams on a global basis, including US market coverage where Davies has expanded its operations through strong organic growth.
Davies indicates that it has raised its investment in digital transformation and technology more than 400 per cent in the past five years in response to growing demand for digital solutions and automation in the insurance market.
This investment includes the acquisition of Sionic in 2021, which broadened Davies’ global
technology transformation, digitalisation, international regulatory compliance and risk management offering for its insurance, banking and wider highly regulated clients.
Dan Saulter, group CEO of Davies says: “David has been instrumental in the successful growth of our consulting business in recent years. He has a strong track record of executing transformational change for our clients and I am looking forward to working with him as he does the same for us.
“[We have again] been able to promote internally; investing in our people and giving them opportunities for career development is central to our success.”
Leedham adds: “I am excited to move into this role which will see me working across the whole Davies business and internationally as well.
“As the global insurance market continues to face external pressures and challenges, Davies is committed to investing in technology to help our clients weather these more turbulent times.”
