Mark Faughn takes new role at Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance
The Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance has appointed Mark Faughn as compliance examiner-in-charge for pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs).
Faughn has been with the department since 2016, serving as an examiner for TennCare, the state’s Medicaid programme, and later as a captive insurance specialist.
He has also been an internal auditor for the department, before moving to the health department as an internal auditor for the subrecipient grant monitoring team.
Faughn held the position of legislative auditor at Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury between 2014 and 2016.
